Jose Munoz

José es el Market Lead para Latinoamérica Hispana en Aurora Energy Research, donde lidera el equipo responsable de la investigación de mercado y consultoría estratégica para la región. Ha asesorado numerosas transacciones y financiamientos de proyectos solares, eólicos y de almacenamiento con baterías, tanto en procesos de compra como de venta.

Antes de liderar el negocio de Aurora en Latinoamérica, José fue Market Lead para el Mid-West de Estados Unidos y Canadá, con base en la oficina de Texas. Previamente, formó parte del equipo de desarrollo de hidrógeno verde del Ministerio de Energía de Chile y trabajó como consultor en BCG, asesorando a clientes de los sectores de energía, minería e industria.

A lo largo de su carrera, ha trabajado junto a desarrolladores, inversionistas, bancos y organismos públicos en iniciativas estratégicas para impulsar la transición energética en América del Norte y Latinoamérica.

José es MBA por la University of Chicago Booth School of Business y es Ingeniero Comercial de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

José is the Market Lead for Hispanic Latin America at Aurora Energy Research, where he leads the team responsible for market research and strategic consulting for the region. He has advised on numerous transactions and financing deals for solar, wind, and battery storage projects, on both the buy-side and sell-side.

Before leading Aurora’s business in Latin America, José served as Market Lead for the U.S. Midwest and Canada, based in the Texas office. Prior to that, he was part of the green hydrogen development team at Chile’s Ministry of Energy and worked as a consultant at BCG, advising clients in the energy, mining, and industrial sectors.

Throughout his career, he has worked alongside developers, investors, banks, and public agencies on strategic initiatives to drive the energy transition in North America and Latin America.

José holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
